The proposed agenda of the Meeting is to discuss progress made by the countries in the region towards achieving the targets set by the Decent Work Agenda in Africa, 2007-15, adopted by the 11th African Regional Meeting, as well as to set out future priority actions for the region to achieve the Decent Work Agenda in Africa.

Trade Unions Workshop on Decent Work for Migrant Domestic Workers in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe Domestic and Allied Workers Union (ZDAWU) and Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) conducted a workshop to develop an action plan to promote decent work for migrant and national domestic workers. The workshop took place in the framework of the Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their families (GAP-MDW).

SADSAWU Strategy Development Workshop for Organizing and Recruiting Migrant Domestic Workers

The South African Domestic Services and Allied Workers Union (SADSAWU) organized a strategic planning workshop with an aim to review the activities for recruitment and organising of migrant domestic workers in South Africa. The workshop took place in the framework of the Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their families (GAP-MDW).
