    A National Consultation Seminar was held in Kigali on September 25, 2015, and brought together 35 policymakers, government officials and experts to discuss on various aspects of the role of migrant workers in Rwanda, in the context of the "Assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination" (ECLM) project.   2. Trade Unions Workshop on Decent Work for Migrant Domestic Workers in Zimbabwe

    18 - 19 March 2015

    Zimbabwe Domestic and Allied Workers Union (ZDAWU) and Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) conducted a workshop to develop an action plan to promote decent work for migrant and national domestic workers. The workshop took place in the framework of the Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their families (GAP-MDW).

  3. SADSAWU Strategy Development Workshop for Organizing and Recruiting Migrant Domestic Workers

    6 - 7 March 2015

    The South African Domestic Services and Allied Workers Union (SADSAWU) organized a strategic planning workshop with an aim to review the activities for recruitment and organising of migrant domestic workers in South Africa. The workshop took place in the framework of the Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their families (GAP-MDW).
