    The Founding Congress of Domestic Workers Union in Lebanon took place on 25 January 2015 in Beirut with participation of 300 domestic and migrant domestic workers. The union is affiliated to the National Federation of Workers’ and Employees’ Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL).

    A series of capacity building workshops for the members of the Founding Committee of the Domestic Workers Union were held with a view to strengthen organizational capacities and facilitate the establishment of the trade union for domestic workers in Lebanon. Activities were conducted within the National Federation of Workers and Employers Trade Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL).
