Launch of How Immigrant Contribute to the Dominican Republic's Economy in Santo Domingo (ECLM project)

An event was held in Santo Domingo on 12 June 2018 to launch the report, How Immigrants Contribute to the Dominican Republic's Economy. The report was produced in the context of the project "Assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination" (ECLM). The agenda for this event can be downloaded below.

The launch event was the second and final event in the Dominican Republic for the EU-funded ECLM project, which is jointly implemented by the OECD Development Centre and the ILO. It follows the National Consultation Seminar held in this country in May 2015.

The launch provided an opportunity to share and discuss the findings and policy implications of the project with a focus on the Dominican Republic. It also served as a platform for policy dialogue between policy makers and representatives from academia, civil society and multilateral organisations.
