Launch of How Immigrant Contribute to Côte d'Ivoire's Economy in Abidjan (ECLM project)

An event was held in Abidjan on 29 March 2018 to launch the report, How Immigrants Contribute to Côte d'Ivoire's Economy. The report was produced in the context of the project "Assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination" (ECLM). The agenda for this event will be available soon.

The launch event was the third and final event in Côte d'Ivoire for the EU-funded ECLM project, which is jointly implemented by the OECD Development Centre and the ILO. It follows the National Consultation Seminar held in this country in November 2015, and a training workshop in August 2016.

The launch provided an opportunity to share and discuss the findings and policy implications of the project with a focus on Côte d'Ivoire. It also served as a platform for policy dialogue between policy makers and representatives from academia, civil society and multilateral organisations.
