Eliza Marks Profile

Eliza Marks is Project Technical Officer with the Global Action to Improve the Recruitment Framework of Labour Migration Project (REFRAME), based at ILO Headquarters, Geneva. In this capacity, she supports the broader Fair Recruitment Initiative’s research, knowledge sharing and visibility.

Previously Eliza worked on technical cooperation projects to prevent the exploitation of migrant workers in the Arab States and Asia Pacific at the ILO Regional Offices in Beirut and Bangkok, with a focus on women migrant workers, research and advocacy, capacity building, and communications.

Prior to joining the ILO she worked in public affairs and community engagement for a number of international NGOs in Australia; and as a case manager at a youth employment service.

Eliza holds a BA in Development Studies (Hons Class I) from the University of New South Wales, and a MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford.
