Sadia Hameed Profile
Ms. Sadia Hameed is working with ILO as a National Programme Officer, responsible to manage the Pakistan component of the project called “Promoting the Effective Governance of Labour Migration from South Asia through Actions on Labour Market Information, Protection during Recruitment and Employment and Skills” based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Before joining this project she was working with another project of ILO funded by the One UN to Empowering Vulnerable groups through Education, Training and Employment with focus on bonded labourers, child labourers and illiterate workers. Ms. Hameed has also 9 years of experience of managing programme/projects in the areas of Education, Child Rights, Child Protection and Livelihood. She had also experience in social mobilization, advocacy, lobbying, and partnership management with NGOs, donors and Government ministries/departments while working with international organizations and other UN agencies in Pakistan, UK and Kenya. Ms. Hameed holds a Master degree in Economics.
