The 10th Edition of the ILO Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy – A human-centred agenda for the future of work

The 10th edition of the Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy will take place on 3-7 June 2019 at ITCILO Campus in Turin, Italy, and it will be sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.

Focused on “A Human-Centred Agenda for the Future of Work”, the Academy offers practical insights on how to boost inclusive and sustainable development and enhance the Decent Work Agenda in different countries and regions.
Professionals, policy makers, and researchers will deepen their knowledge of key topics with the guidance of international development experts and will share ideas in an interactive and multidisciplinary forum.

With a combination of study visits, lectures and online learning tools, this Academy is a cutting edge event covering the most pressing challenges in the sector, ranging from the fourth industrial revolution to the social inclusion of vulnerable groups. The global dimension of the course brought by speakers and participants will be enriched by the local level offered by the field visits in a country like Italy, which is considered a model in Europe for its solid public support for social enterprises.

The Academy will be offered in English, French and Italian. More detailed information on content and application process can be found on the Academy flyer.
