Even though there have been international statistical standards on underemployment since 1957, not all countries actually measure it in their household or labour force surveys. The ILO does not have a program of statistical compilation of underemployment series. The Key Indicators of the Labour Market regularly publishes series of time-related underemployment obtained mainly from the OECD’s labour statistics database and its database for economies in transition .
