Kiribati ratifies the Tripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976 (No. 144)
Kiribati is the 147th member State to have ratified this Convention.
On 26 June 2019, Kiribati deposited with the ILO the instrument of ratification of theTripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976 (No. 144) .
Kiribati is the 147th member State of the ILO to have ratified the Convention. The Convention No. 144 will enter into force for Kiribati on 26 June 2020, one year after its ratification.
Kiribati thus contributes to the ILO Centenary Ratification Campaign, being one of the 56 countries with new ratifications or with instruments entering into force in 2019.
