The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the application of ILO Conventions and Recommendations: comments of the Committee of Experts

In December 2020, the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations recalled that the concrete commitments undertaken by ILO member States to protect the dignity and freedom of people at work remain fully valid during the current pandemic and strengthen the resilience of societies building back better. The CEACR which has been supervising the application of international labour standards since 1927 made the following particular comments:
