Assessing Fiscal Employment Measures in Middle-Income Countries

This report documents the economic impact of COVID-19 on middle-income countries to highlight the necessity of employment stimulus policies that limit negative shocks, and help to support labour market recovery. Secondly, its compiles a comprehensive database of the different programmes adopted by both lower- and upper-middle-income countries, according to a basic schema introduced, which includes multiple programs across over 100 economies.
