    The Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (No. 189) was adopted in June 2011. As per established practice, soon after the adoption of a new international labour Convention, the Governing Body establishes the questionnaire that the governments of ratifying States will have to use for the purpose of preparing reports on the application of the Convention in accordance with article 22 of the ILO Constitution. In the present document, the Governing Body is invited to examine and approve the report form to be used as a basis for the reports on the application of the Domestic Workers Convention, 2011 (No. 189) which the governments of ratifying States will be required to submit regularly for the attention of the ILO supervisory organs. (See the point for decision in paragraph 2.)

    Final report: Meeting of Experts on the Code of Practice on Safety in the Use of Machinery

    At its 306th Session (November 2009), the Governing Body decided to convene a Meeting of Experts on a code of practice on safety in the use of machinery, and approved the Meeting’s agenda and a composition of eight Governments, eight Employer and eight Worker experts. The Meeting was held in Geneva from 29 November to 7 December 2011. After examining the text of the draft code of practice on safety and health in the use of machinery, the experts adopted the code of practice as amended.
