   Migrant Domestic Workers in Europe Photo Contest

   11 March - 30 April 2013, Europe

   The International Migration Programme of the ILO is organizing a photo contest in order to explore and to showcase the important and positive contributions that migrant domestic workers in Europe make to the societies they live in. This contest has been organized in the context of the ILO project ‘Promoting Integration for Migrant Domestic Workers in Europe’, with the financial support of the European Integration Fund.

2. Enterprise Development through Value Chains and Business Service Markets

   18 March - 28 June 2013, Turin

   The course is highly relevant for professionals developing and implementing Value Chain and enterprise development projects in rural and urban areas. It offers a unique on-the-job learning opportunity using practical tools and lessons from enterprise development programs that have reached thousands of small enterprises in rural and urban areas.

3. UNRISD Conference on Potential and Limits of Social and Solidarity Economy

   The conference - co-organized with the ILO in collaboration with UN-NGLS, will explore the potential and limits of Social and Solidarity Economy organizations such as cooperatives, women’s self-help groups, social enterprise and associations of informal workers.

   The overall objective of this course is to develop knowledge and skills that will lead to the integration of the psychosocial and health promotion issues into a comprehensive enterprise policy and establish a framework for preventative action. This course will be held in Spanish.

9. Academy on Youth Development - Supporting Effective Youth Development Policies and Programmes
