  1. Distance learning course on occupational safety and health

    9 February - 31 July 2014, International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy

    The general objective of this course is to develop the knowledge and the understanding for managing the occupational safety and health (OSH).

  2. Workshop on the Fair Recruitment Initiative

    23 - 24 April 2014, ILO International Training Centre Turin, Italy

    This workshop aims at reviewing and discussing recent evidence on the nexus between recruitment, labour migration and human trafficking. The overall framework and objectives of the “Fair Recruitment Initiative” will also be discussed, including benchmarks for Fair Recruitment based on International Standards and the development of policy guidance. The meeting is held under the auspices of the Taskforce on Migration and Decent Work of the Global Migration Group (GMG), which is chaired by the ILO in 2014.

  3. South Asia Labour Conference 2014: Fostering regional cooperation for Decent Work

    24 - 26 April 2014, Lahore, Pakistan

    ILO Islamabad is providing technical support to the Government of Punjab, Labour & Human Resource Department in organizing a 3-day ‘South Asia Labour Conference’ on 24-26 April 2014 in Lahore (Pakistan). Purpose of the conference is to strengthen regional cooperation for promoting Decent Work in South Asia. The Conference will discuss seven thematic areas of common interest for South Asian countries. More than 300 delegates from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan have confirmed their participation in the Conference.

  4. Course "Identifying and investigating cases of forced labour and trafficking"

    5 - 9 May 2014, ILO International Training Centre Turin, Italy

    The main objective of the course is to train participants to better identify and investigate cases of forced labour, including trafficking for labour exploitation. The course addresses the different stages of the process (inspecting workplaces, interviewing victims, gathering evidence), with a focus on the private sector (textile, agriculture, domestic work, etc.).

  5. SOLVE training of trainers: Integrating health promotion in occupational safety and health policies

    12 - 23 May 2014, International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy

    The overall objective of this course is to develop knowledge and skills that will lead to the integration of the psychosocial and health promotion issues into a comprehensive enterprise policy and establish a framework for preventative action.

  6. Global Dialogue Forum on Employment Relationships in the Media and Culture Sector

    Tripartite constituents will address employment relationships in the media and culture sector.

  9. XX Congress on Safety and Health at Work: "Sharing a Vision for Sustainable Prevention"

    24 - 27 August 2014, Frankfurt am Main, Germany

    The World Congress, organized every three years since 1955, provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge, practices and experiences for all occupational safety and health specialists, employers and managers, trade unions, public administration, insurance and social security professionals, manufacturers and importers, as well as anyone with an interest in safety and health at work.

  10. Master in Occupational Safety and Health

    8 September 2014 - 30 September 2015, International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy

    The University of Turin, Italy, in partnership with the International Training Centre (ITC) of the ILO, is offering a Master course in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). This one-year programme, to be held in English, includes an Internet-based distance learning phase, a face-to-face residential period on the ITC-ILO’s campus in Turin followed by another distance phase for the preparation of the dissertation.
