The 101st session of the International Labour Conference of the ILO, is to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) from 30 May to 15 June 2012. Each member State of the ILO is represented by a delegation consisting of two government delegates, an employer delegate, a worker delegate and their respective advisers.

As youth unemployment reaches unprecedented levels in many countries, the ILO is to hold a Global Youth Employment Forum to address the challenges young people face in the labour market. A hundred young men and women (aged 18-29), from all regions of the world will share their experiences and views on the current employment situation and discuss practical examples of successful initiatives which have led to the promotion of decent work for youth.
