World Day for Safety and Health at Work

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work is intended to focus international attention on the magnitude of the problem and how promoting and creating a safety and health culture can help to reduce the number of work-related deaths each year. Because decent work is safe work.

Type: Conference
When: 28 April 2004
Where: Geneve, Switzerland

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work is intended to focus international attention on promoting and creating decent, safe work. The ILO aims to reduce the number of work-related deaths each year, including those resulting from HIV/AIDS, and to make work decent by eliminating workplace stigma and discrimination related to HIV/AIDS. This year, as in previous years, tripartite events are taking place world wide, and a number of products will be available from this web page to support those efforts. You are invited to join us in promoting this important day.
