  • A handbook on a methodology for estimating green jobs in bioenergy
    The main aim of this handbook was to provide a set of tools for conducting studies of the potential for creating bioenergy jobs at provincial level, including the related requirements for skills and capacity 
     
  • Developing the construction industry for employment-intensive infrastructure investments
    This guide describes how the local construction industry and authorities can be mobilized to efficiently develop and maintain rural and urban infrastructure through a local resource-based (LRB) approach.
     
  • Employment diagnostics (forthcoming)
    The comprehensive employment policy agenda spells out a series of policy areas. Furthermore, the need to focus on structural transformation, SDG’s and FoW issues have led to a very broad set of areas to address in a country diagnostic. Based on the EDA, the point is to update de diagnostic as a two-stage process. One in which the focus is to identify and prioritize key areas (core diagnostic or rapid assesment), and then a deep dive into specific sections. This allows to balance breadth va depth, specificity vs timeliness.
     
  • GIS mapping of the labour market in bioeconomy in Argentina
    In this Atlas of the bioeconomy in Argentina, ILO was responsible for the labour market part of this exercise. The focus was on the demand side. Besides information on total employment, it also includes further details such as age groups, gender dimensions, wages, size of enterprise and various sub-sectors within bioeconomy.

    The Global Employment Trends for Youth series is a biennual report setting out the youth labour market situation around the world by incorporating the most recent employment trends for young women and men.
     
  • Global Skills for Employment Knowledge Sharing Platform
    The Global Skills for Employment Global Public-Private Knowledge Sharing Platform (Global KSP) shares the approaches and experiences that international organizations, governments, employers and workers have found are effective in strengthening the links between education and training to productive and decent work.
     
  • Guide on measuring decent jobs for youth: Monitoring, evaluation and learning in labour market programmes
    The guide offers a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the topics of results measurement and impact assessment, their practical application in the youth employment field and how evidence created via results measurement strategies can lead to improved programming.
     
  • Guide on pro-employment macroeconomic and sectoral policies for African countries (forthcoming)
    This policy guide is concerned with addressing these questions with a particular focus on the role of a comprehensive macroeconomic and sectoral policy framework in promoting employment growth, a question that receives too little attention in current policy debates and practice.
