Training of Trainers on “Gender Mainstreaming Guide”

The training course aims to improve capacity in gender mainstreaming (GM). By the end of the course, participants will be able to: • Understand concept and the importance of gender mainstreaming; relationship between: GM and gender equality law and gender equality process in Vietnam; • Define their roles and responsibility in GM; • Understand the structure and key content of the material: GMG; • Practice GMG in some contents: GM in legal documents/ policies; GM in projects/ program.

The Training of Trainers on “Gender Mainstreaming Guide” is organized by MOLISA/ILO under the UN-Government Joint Programme on Gender Equality (JPG) (2009-2012). The participants come from Departments of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Viet Nam Cooperative Alliance, Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Women’s Union, National Committee for the Advancement of Women from several city/provinces.
