The training course “Making Microfinance Work: Managing for Improved Performance is co-organized by ILO’s Microfinance Support Programme and Vietnam Microfinance Working Center. This is an opportunity for senior managers in microfinance institutions, department managers, internal auditors, regional managers, branch managers and “managers-in-training” to learn and share their experience in microfinance management.
The objective of this course is to contribute to the better performance of institutions that provide savings, credit and other services to the poor. It helps to broaden participants’ understanding of the functions that contribute to successful performance; supply an arsenal of tools that can assist managers to strengthen the performance of their unit, branch or institution; stimulate the sharing of experiences and strategies for meeting current challenges; and expose managers to microfinance experience from other parts of the world and inspire more innovative thinking about what might be possible in local environment.
