Reform of ILO headquarters

News | 14 February 2013

The Director-General, Guy Ryder, has announced changes in the ILO headquarters organizational structure.

This is one component of a reform process designed to place the ILO in a better position to meet its constitutional objectives based on the Decent Work Agenda and is coherent with the direction given in the Organization's 2008 Declaration on Social Justice for a fair Globalization.

The new structure also provides a platform for advancing other areas of the reform process, including the strengthening of field operations.
