ILO Forum on Decent Work for a Fair Globalization to be held in Lisbon

An ILO Forum on Decent Work for a Fair Globalization will be held in the Portuguese capital on 31 October to 2 November to discuss a wide range of globalization issues and seek ways of promoting decent work as the key to economic, social and environmental sustainability and inclusiveness.

LISBON (ILO News) – An ILO Forum on Decent Work for a Fair Globalization will be held here on 31 October to 2 November to discuss a wide range of globalization issues and seek ways of promoting decent work as the key to economic, social and environmental sustainability and inclusiveness.

The Forum is expected to draw 300 participants, from representatives of governments, labour and employers to leaders of parliaments, international organizations, academic and civil society. The government of Portugal is hosting the meeting, which is also supported by the European Commission.
