GENEVA (ILO News) – How can the quality of life at work be improved? What are the new challenges as we undertake our daily professional life? These questions are at the heart of the photographic exhibition "ÊtreS au Travail" (Being at Work), which will be on display from 1 to 30 June at the Quai Wilson in Geneva, in association with the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Geneva (UNIGE).

The exhibit is sponsored by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and will be displayed to coincide with the 110th session of the International Labour Conference and the 56th Congress of the Société d'Ergonomie de Langue Française.

Interested journalists, photographers and videographers are invited to take part in the opening of the exhibition “ÊtreS au travail” at the Quai Wilson, in Geneva, on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 4:45 p.m. The Director-General of the ILO, Guy Ryder, as well as representatives of the Swiss authorities, the city of Geneva and the University of Geneva, are to take part in the opening of this innovative photographic exhibition.

"ÊtreS au Travail" seeks to bring together artistic, cultural and scientific points of view to raise awareness among a wide audience of the new challenges for the world of work in the 21st century. A total of 27 photographers from around the world participated in the project. The exhibition features more than 50 professions and 38 sectors of activity.

The exhibition was conceived in 2019 on the occasion of the ILO's Centenary, by the association Lumières sur le Travail and students of the Professional Master's Degree in Occupational Psychology and Ergonomics at the University of Paris Nanterre.
