Young representatives from employer and worker groups, youth associations, the ILO and partner organizations will share their experiences and views on the current employment situation and discuss practical examples of successful initiatives, which have led to the promotion of decent work for youth.
The Forum’s plenary sessions, thematic discussions and breakout workshops will focus primarily on:
- Examining the impact of the youth employment crisis and reviewing facts and issues from across different regions;
- Discovering ways to enable access to decent work for young people (including students, interns, informal workers, unpaid family contributors...);
- Developing partnerships for more and better jobs for youth.

Media accreditation
Geneva-based correspondents already accredited to the UN
Correspondents who already hold media accreditation from UNOG will be able to attend and observe the Forum using their UN press badge. A separate Forum badge will be provided on entry to the ILO building.For all other correspondents
To obtain accreditation for the Forum, all other correspondents should complete an accreditation form, to be sent by email (communication@ilo.org), fax (+4122/799-8577) or by post (addressed to ILO, Department of Communication and Public Information, 4 route des Morillons, 1211 Geneva 22, Switzerland).Journalists should bring their press badge and ID and collect their Forum badges on entry to the ILO building.
