Facing the jobs crisis, an interview with the ILO Director-General

ILO TV interviews Juan Somavia, the ILO Director-General, about the Global Employment Trends 2009 report published today. "The ILO message is realistic, not alarmist. We are now facing a global jobs crisis. Many governments are aware and acting, but more decisive and coordinated international action is needed to avert a global social recession," says Mr. Somavia.
