Job Creation in Small and Medium Enterprises: An Updated Guide to Recommendation No. 189
The ILO Recommendation No. 189 is the only International Labour Standard providing guidelines on general conditions to increase job creation in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The ILO published a new Guide to support employment policies compliant with the Recommendation No.189. This Guide outlines strategies, tools and good practices from different regions of the world to help member states to coordinate actions and effectively generate productive and decent jobs in SMEs.
