ILO and Philippine authorities have been working together on livelihoods recovery. Lawrence Jeff Johnson, Director of the ILO Office for the Philippines met with officials of the Department of Labour and Employment in Tacloban, to discuss ongoing emergency employment programmes. The city was the worst hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the central Philippines earlier this month.
