The ILO is deeply shocked and saddened by the ferocious attack perpetrated against peaceful demonstrators of the “Labour, Peace and Democracy” Rally in Ankara, which claimed dozens of lives and left hundreds of others severely injured.

We stand together in solidarity with the Turkish people and offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We wish all those injured in this violence a speedy and complete recovery.
