International Labour Organization Rings the Nasdaq Closing Bell

To commemorate the ILO Centenary in 2019, Moussa Oumarou, ILO's Deputy Director-General for Field Operations & Partnerships, Peter Robinson, President and CEO of United States Council for International Business and Mamadou Diallo, Deputy General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation together rang the Nasdaq closing bell on 11 July 2019.

The 2019 Regulating for Decent Work prize has been won by a Vietnamese researcher for a study of the conditions of female migrant workers in Myanmar’s garment factories. The prize was presented during the 6th Regulating for Decent Work conference, hosted by the ILO.
