On 17 April 2023, an agreement between the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the ILO concerning the ILO’s presence in the country has entered into force. This agreement, which was signed by the ILO Regional Director for Arab States on 23 February 2023, establishes the terms and conditions under which the ILO undertakes its activities in Jordan and provides for a comprehensive coverage of the ILO privileges and immunities in the country.
