About the First edition:
"This book is perfect as an introduction to the field of occupational health and safety. Dispersed throughout the text are nuggets of occupational health and safety truths or ideas useful for the professional. The "Occupational Health Surveillance" chapter was very enlightening. Useful text is provided about work environment surveillance and accompanying risk assessment of those areas. The chapter "Health Promotion, Education and Training" provides an interesting discussion of the differences between education and training. Overall, I found the text an easy read and very motivational."
