24 November - 3 December 2003, Genève, Switzerland Seventeenth International Conference on Labour Statisticians The conference adopted revised international statistical standards on consumer price indices and household income and expenditure statistics. It also adopted a resolution requestin the ILO to take steps to updated ISCO-88 by 2007. It endorsed guidelines for the measurement of information employment and a checklist of good practices for mainstreaming gender in labour statistics, and discussed other topics including the measurement of decent work and working time. The report will be available on the Bureau of Statistics' web site in E, F and S after submission to the GB in March 2004.
