GENEVA (ILO News) ─The International Labour Office (ILO) is to issue its annual Global Employment Trends report (GET) assessing the impact of the global financial crisis on employment, unemployment, working poverty and labour market vulnerability in 2009.

It also offers a number of policy considerations in light of the new challenges facing policy makers in the coming year.

The Global Employment Trends 2009, along with other public information materials, will be posted on the ILO website as of 1200 GMT on 28 January 2009. An advance electronic version of the report and its related press release will be available on request from media, under embargo for publication on or after 1200 GMT on 28 January 2009.
