Interview with Michael Cichon, Director of the Social Security Department of the ILO.As the World Social Security Forum is to be held in Moscow in September, the ILO, through its Global campaign for Social Security and Coverage for All, promotes the idea of a social security floor, a strategy aimed at achieving Millennium Development Goal N° 1 on halving poverty. It is also a case for early investment to reach the 80 per cent of the world's population that lacks adequate social protection.
