GIMI has a consolidated database which includes all of the microinsurance schemes inventoried in 2003 in 11 African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Tchad, Togo), in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and the Philippines. The data with respect to the African microinsurance schemes originate from the inventory organised by 'La Concertation'.
