Nutrition Security and Maternity Protection through Exclusive and Continued Breastfeeding Promotion in the Workplace in the Philippines
The project promotes exclusive breastfeeding in the workplaces (EBFW) which aims to strengthen the Family Welfare Program (FWP) in Naga City, Iloilo City and Zamboanga City. The strengthening of FWP interventions is also being expanded to workers in the informal economy.
The ILO’s mandate and tripartite principles ensures representation from the government, employers and employees’ organizations in implementing these interventions.
