The articles in this issue demonstrate ways ILO supported constituents’ efforts to better understand gender equality issues, break stereotypes and strengthen their knowledge and capacity to mainstream gender. Also provided are examples of joint work between ILO and UN agencies and intergovernmental institutions to integrate gender equality into policies.

Answers on common questions regarding the participatory Gender Audits (PGAs) are presented, and this section lists the countries in Africa where ILO offices as well constituents and partners have undertaken PGAs and related training over the last ten years. A list of resources published in 2010 is also provided.
