ILO Gender Equality Action Plan 2008-09

At the November 2007 session in Geneva of the ILO Governing Body, a revised Gender Equality Action Plan 2008-09 was presented and overwhelmingly received. The Action Plan was developed in a consultative and participatory manner with key members of the Gender Network, as well as with executive heads of sectors and strategic units at headquarters and of the regional offices. GENDER is coordinating implementation of Action Plan with funding by the Department for International Development of the United Kingdom.
