The forum, attended by 31 women and nine men, aimed to consolidate the ILO Gender Network’s response and support for implementing the Conclusions of the Committee on Gender Equality, held in Geneva during the June 2009 International Labour Conference. A central tool for this support is the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2010-15. Participants in the forum also discussed work on a gender equality module for the ILO Management and Leadership Development Programme, participatory gender audits, and good practices and challenges in mainstreaming gender across the work of headquarters-based sectors and the five regions.
