At the November 2007 session in Geneva of the ILO Governing Body, a revised Gender Equality Action Plan 2008-09 was presented and overwhelmingly received. The Action Plan was developed in a consultative and participatory manner with key members of the Gender Network, as well as with executive heads of sectors and strategic units at headquarters and of the regional offices.
