Decision on the first item on the agenda: Promotion of the ratification of the 1986 Instrument of Amendment of the Constitution of the International Labour Organisation
The Governing Body took note of the progress report, encouraged the Office to continue to promote ratification of the 1986 Instrument of Amendment to the Constitution of the International Labour Organisation taking into account the guidance provided during its discussion, and requested the Office to provide updated information at its 313th Session (March 2012). The Office was further encouraged to consider new proposals arising from the discussion for presentation, as appropriate, to a future session of the Governing Body.
