Appointment of the tenth Director-General of the ILO: Call for candidatures

Following the decision by Mr Juan Somavia to advance the date of his departure as Director-General of the ILO to 30 September 2012, the Governing Body requested its Chairperson, to call for candidates for appointment to the Office of the Director-General of the ILO through communication to Governing Body members and ILO member States. This letter constitutes such call for candidates.
