  1. ILO-sponsors high-level meeting on Syrian refugee labour policy reform in host countries

    The ILO is to convene a high-level policy dialogue session between key players in countries hosting Syrian refugees to exchange views and experiences on the challenges faced in addressing the labour market impact of the crisis and discuss options for policy and programmes.

  1. International Experts' Meeting on assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination (ECLM project)

    The meeting will gather a small group of academic experts from universities, research institutions and international organisations from around the world to discuss methodological approaches for the ECLM project.

  2. "Transforming economies - Making industrial policy work for growth, jobs and development"

    A high level ILO/UNCTAD panel including the Assistant Director General for Policy, Mr José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, UNCTAD Director of the Globalisation and Development Strategies Division, Mr Richard Kozul and ILO Senior Economist, Ms Irmgard Nübler, will present the main findings of the book "Transforming economies - Making industrial policy work for growth, jobs and development".

  1. Setting a labour inspection action plan for undeclared work in Montenegro

    The ILO will organize a training for Labour Inspection of Montenegro about the informal economy and undeclared work on the 3rd and 4th of February 2015 in Podgorica, Montenegro.
