    The Youth Employment Inventory provides comparative information about the design, characteristics and achievements of 115 youth employment interventions that aim to improve the labour market outcomes of young people in Kenya. The interventions include skills training, entrepreneurship promotion, employment services and subsidized employment – either as a stand-alone or combined intervention. Information about the geographic coverage, scale and targeting characteristics of each intervention is complemented by information about their design, costs, implementation and financing mechanisms.

    This Taqeem Impact Report presents the baseline analysis of the impact evaluation of a youth entrepreneurship reality TV show called El Mashrou3 in Egypt. The research aims to provide insights into the effects of so called “edutainment” interventions on enterprise development outcomes for youth. This baseline report provides descriptive statistics on the study sample and balance tests between the treatment and control group.

    This Taqeem Impact Report presents the baseline analysis of the impact evaluation of the “100 Hours to Success” programme implemented by Mennonite Economic Development Associates in Morocco (MEDA Maroc). The research explores the impact of employability, finance and entrepreneurship training combined with job placement support to better understand young people’s transitions from school to the labour market. The baseline report provides an overview of the methodological approach used in evaluating the impact of the programme and an initial assessment of the population of young people surveyed prior to the launch of the programme.
