Socio-economic impacts assessment of selected access interventions implemented in Chipinge and Zaka districts of rural Zimbabwe

This study was carried to assess the impact of interventions implemented following the rural transport study in three districts of Zimbabwe. The three categories of interventions implemented were: a) physical access infrastructure interventions - footbridges and footpathsb) strategic location of facilities in order to reduce the distance travelled - boreholesc) provision of loan funds to enable the acquisition of IMT - whheelbarrows, scotch carts, bicycles and donkey
