Dr. Roxana Maurizio is an Independent Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council, CONICET. Researcher at the Instituto Interdisciplinario de Economía Política (IIEP-BAIRES). Deputy Director of Bachelor in Economics, Faculty of Economics, UBA. She also works as consultant for national and international organizations (ILO, ECLAC, World Bank, UNDP). Her areas of interest are labour economics, income distribution, poverty and social policies in Latin America. She has published articles (in journals such as Journal of Development and Change, International Review of Applied Economics, Journal of Income Distribution, Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Economic Inequality, International Social Security Review, International Labour Review) and books about labour informality, labour institutions, international migration, income mobility, inequality and poverty, and labour and social programs. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, a Master degree in Economics and a PhD. in Economics.
