The document sets out the Employment Sector’s vision and strategy to support achieving gender equality in the world of work. It is the Sector’s strategy to implement the office-wide ILO’s Action Plan for Gender Equality 2010-2015, which was approved by the Governing Body in March, 2010 . The strategy outlines 6 priority areas. For each area it identifies specific actions and measures to be taken. These areas have been broadly aligned with the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality, and as such this document should be read in conjunction with the Office wide Action Plan.
