The Employment Sector Information and Documentation centre offers ILO Officials both at Headquarters and the field, ILO constituents, journalists, students and others a range of services to meet your information needs.

This includes access to the Sector's free publications, research assistance, loans from the Employment Sector's or the ILO Library's collection, guidance on how to use information resources and on-line research tools effectively. The Centre also organises displays of its own as well as other ILO publications during special events.

    The study examines the continuing job crisis affecting young people in many parts of the world. It provides updated statistics on global and regional youth unemployment rates and presents ILO policy recommendations to curb the current trends.

  3. Youth voices from Asia and the Pacific

    Between December 2011 and May 2012, the ILO has consulted young people from around the globe to gather their inputs to an International Youth Forum in Geneva, ahead of the 101st International Labour Conference for which a key focus is youth employment. As part of this global process, 13 national youth employment consultation events took place in Asia and the Pacific. This report summarises the key messages brought by young people and policy makers.
