The FAMOS Check is a tool for doing a self-check of one’s own
organization. It is normally carried out by an internal team with support
from external facilitators. The goal of the self-check is to identify
opportunities for improvement in the way in which an organization reaches
out to and serves both women and men, i.e. Female And Male Operated
Small enterprises. The FAMOS Check explores these questions:
Does the organization want to work for both Female And Male Operated
Small enterprises?
Does the organization actually work for FAMOS?
How can the organization improve the way it works for FAMOS?
