Around the world, local governments play a key role in providing of social services and promoting economic development. Social innovation means doing things differently. Increasingly, public and private actors manage to bring human and technological capacities together to deliver life-changing outcomes for their communities. This course provides local policy makers and their public and private partners with the necessary insights to promote social innovation in a local context, deal with some of the stumbling blocks, and ensure desirable social and labour market outcomes.

Target Group

This course is designed for local government officials, local public and private service providers with a keen interest to explore the potential of social innovation and integrate it into their work programmes.
