Webinar on HIV and AIDS in the workplace: how companies can make the difference in prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS

This 60 minute webinar will discuss two questions: a) Why should businesses respond to HIV and AIDS? and b) How can businesses respond to HIV and AIDS?

It will cover a range of issues: development of workplace policy and programmes for employees and their families; programmes for supply chains and vulnerable populations; and public private partnerships in HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.

Good practices on partnership models with enterprises and lessons learnt from across the globe will be shared as well as examples on how enterprises are translating the Recommendation concerning HIV and AIDS and the World of Work, 2010 (No. 200) into action.

The webinar will be conducted by experts from the ILO Programme on HIV and AIDS and the World of work (ILO/AIDS). For more information on ILO/AIDS, please see www.ilo.org/aids
